Qualifications:

Dam & Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Dam & Geotechnical Instrumentation within an EPC,
    construction, or engineering environment, at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the
    installation, monitoring, and analysis of instrumentation for large dam projects (RCC or
    concrete gravity dams preferred) or major hydropower plants.
  • Strong knowledge of installation, calibration, and troubleshooting for dam safety
    instruments (e.g., Vibrating Wire Piezometers, Rod Extensometers, Joint Meters,
    Thermocouples, and Accelerometers).
Tunnel (Shield TBM) Civil Engineer
  • This job will mainly perform official duties within the construction team, such as construction-related site management, process management, inspection work, subcontracted ready-made quantities, and preparation of construction documents, and will be managed by a local supervisor

 

Responsibilities:

Dam & Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer
  • Manage technical coordination with instrument suppliers to ensure specifications meet
    project requirements.
  • Oversee the procurement schedule, delivery, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of all
    dam & geotechnical sensors and readout units.
  • Supervise the precise installation of instruments (e.g., piezometers, extensometers, load
    cells, thermocouples) for the RCC dam (dam body, embankments, foundation, &
    galleries) and other structures including tunnels, powerhouse, steel penstocks, etc.
  • Ensure installation methods adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines and project
    technical specifications.
  • Perform pre-installation calibration and post-installation verification tests.
  • Maintain quality records and non-conformance reports regarding instrumentation
    activities.
Tunnel (Shield TBM) Civil Engineer
  • Checking the quantity of tunnel day/night construction and preparing a report.
  • Tunnel Monthly Subcontract Construction Ready-made Quantity Confirmation and Calculation
  • Collect and review monitoring data created by the local supervisor
  • Preparation of construction-related reports required by the client
  • Review of construction execution plan and preparation of detailed construction plan for each item
  • Coordinate with the E&S team to carry out pre-reports and monitoring when carrying out construction
  • In cooperation with the HSE team, safety-related monitoring and Share relevant training and disseminate it to workers
